The Forest Glen Board will use an agenda for its meetings that automatically calculates the time each meeting will take. This will allow for better planning (i.e., how many issues can be handled at each meeting) and avoid the delay of critical action items.
Instead of e-mailing, the board will use Google docs for sharing information and projects, such as the ongoing review of its bylaws.
The board will schedule a “retreat” in February on a Saturday morning with a volunteer facilitator who will lead them through best practices for meeting facilitation. Brunch will be served!
